After-School CareWe offer a caring after-school program with a low student-to-teacher ratio!
Basic childcare is highly affordable and additional services are available for your child. Homework support is available from highly qualified tutors and teachers. All kindergarteners and first graders are required to have homework support. Extra support is available and suggested for any student who is having difficulty with math or reading. Students have supervised computer access for online homework. Students can also be pulled out for one-on-one tutoring, keeping you from having to drive to a separate tutoring appointment.

"Mrs. Kosasa, my tutor, is the only person I know that loves sweets as much as I do yet, she may be one of the skinniest people you will ever meet. She is the craziest, busiest, and most understanding person I know. She’s the kind of person I wouldn’t mind spending the day with even if we were doing something boring. Kosasa Academy
Program includes:
Times: Program runs every school day from dismissal to 5 PM. Extended time up to 5:30 PM available with reservation.
Cost: $30 registration
$300 monthly for care until 5 PM. **
Extra charges:
*We will go back to the classroom to retrieve forgotten items. However, teachers sometimes leave and lock their rooms early and we are not able to actually retrieve the materials.
**Tax will be added
Program includes:
- Extra attention and supervision: 7 to 1 student to adult ratio.
- Pick up from Aikahi Elementary. Pick up includes a planner and bag check for every student.*
- A healthy snack
- Homework support and supervision
- Students learn to prioritize homework tasks
- Homework is checked for accuracy and completeness
- Help with homework as needed. If a student cannot do homework independently, parents will be informed and extra support services will be provided as requested.
- Choice of tasty reward snacks may be purchased after homework is completed.
- Crafts, cooking activities, active and computer games available after homework is completed.
- Tutorial services provided at parent request.
- Consultation with behavioral specialists and implementation of ABA plans welcomed.

- $15 daily charge for extended care (as needed).
- $15 daily charge (Mondays – Thursday) for extra homework support for students grades K and 1 and students needing extra support.
- After 5 PM (or 5:30 PM for students with an extended care reservation), every additional minute will incur a $5.00 per minute charge
