Quick improvement in reading is achieved with our highly effective Orton-Gillingham based phonics programs.
Good reading comprehension leads to greater success in all classes, from science to social studies to word problems in math. We make sure students have the skills they need to understand and remember what they have read in all of their subjects.
For fast, effective instruction, students are tested to identify their particular challenges, then individual programs are designed to meet their needs.
Provides help with current homework assignments and instruction and practice in the organizational skills needed to achieve independence.
This service provides full school support to the student including communication with the student’s school and teachers (with parental permission) library trips, picking up supplies for projects, or other educational errands.
Research Paper Support
Breaking these projects into sequential steps makes these papers a cinch! We can walk students through a project from pre-research to final copy or jump in to rescue a project as its due date approaches.

Why our Reading Instruction Works:
The essential curricular content and instructional practices that characterize the Orton-Gillingham Approach are derived from two sources: first from a body of time-tested knowledge and practice that has been validated over the past 70 years, and second from scientific evidence about how persons learn to read and write; why a significant number have difficulty in doing so; how having dyslexia makes achieving literacy skills more difficult; and which instructional practices are best suited for teaching such persons to read and write.

Comprehensive placement testing identifies your child's specific needs. We teach concepts through hands-on instruction that gives your child a concrete understanding of the abstract problem solving techniques. We give your child a conceptual understanding of topics that are taught procedurally in schools.
