Teach a class based on a set schedule.
Each class varies in terms of time (1-4 hours/week).
More than 1 class may be available depending on applicant's qualifications.
Classes involve 3-6 students and cover math, science, phonics, and reading comprehension.
Compensation for teachers varies with education and experience.
Tutor children in 1:1 and 1:2 sessions. The highest demand is for tutors in math and reading, but other subjects such as Spanish, English, Chemistry, and Physics are needed.
Tutors are hired, and then scheduled as clients request their subject area(s).
An individual may chose to accept more than 1 position in order to work his or her desired number of hours. Hours for tutors vary with demand.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their education, training, and experience. Some applicants may be selected on the condition that they complete in-house training. In house training is available for phonics/reading and lower level math.
Compensation for tutors varies with education and experience.
Supervise student homework and playtime.
Help students with homework as needed.
Plan and monitor student activities and games.
Candidates should be available weekdays during the hours of 1:30-5:30pm.
No college degree required. High school students are welcome to apply. Resume is not required for current high school students, but please provide us with a list of 3 references.
