"Trisha teaches with humor and enthusiasm, yet sneaks in tidbits of wisdom along with the academics. She makes learning fun and relevant. Her unique style captures her students' interest, while also making her teaching memorable. Because of her extensive experience teaching a multitude of students with a wide range of abilities and learning styles, she is skilled at putting herself into each student's brain to understand their specific makeup, and then to teach in a manner that is compatible with their individuality."

"I was looking for resources to identify ways to help my son improve his decoding, fluency and comprehension in reading. The workshop is extremely detailed in learning and teaching phonics, spelling rules and providing new ideas to teach struggling readers. Because of the skills I learned, I gained greater confidence to help my son and other children improve their decoding and spelling. The training is engaging and the information extremely valuable."

“I attended a workshop on teaching phonetic reading, writing, and spelling using multisensory techniques at Kosasa Academy. This workshop was so helpful! As a homeschooling parent of four, one with dyslexia, I found this course invaluable. This is how phonics should be taught! I wish I had had this training when I first started homeschooling. It is a great workshop for any parent wanting to learn how to properly teach phonics, or for helping a child who struggles with spelling.”
